Ms. Mitzi Ann Faye N. Queja
Ms. Mitzi Ann Faye N. Queja, known as Teacher Mitzi, is a faculty member of the Department of Family Life and Child Development at the University of the Philippines Diliman. A licensed professional since 2024, she placed 8th in the March 2024 Licensure Examination for Teachers (Secondary Level). She has taught the Toddlers Older Age Group, 2s Class, 2s and 3s Class, 3s Class, and the 4s Class at the U.P. Child Development Center. A passionate advocate for early childhood education, she served as president of the FLCD Circle in A.Y. 2022–2023.
She remains actively involved in research and extension work. She presented her undergraduate thesis, “The Relationship of Filipino Stepfathers with their stepchildren,” at the PECERA Annual Conference in Tokyo, Japan. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Special Needs and Inclusive Education at the UP College of Education. She also recently presented a case work entitled “The spark of a spartan: A child with ADHD turned athlete and businessman” at the PECERA Annual Conference in Singapore.
