🌻Undergraduate Admissions
Admission to the Bachelor of Family Life and Child Development admits students into its undergraduate programs through the UP College Admission Test (UPCAT). The UPCAT consists of 4 subtests: Language Proficiency (in English and Filipino), Reading Comprehension (in English and Filipino), Science, and Mathematics. Standardized UPCAT scores are combined with the composite of final grades in Grades 8 to 11 to determine the admission score ("UPG"). To implement the policy of democratization to make the U.P. studentry more representative of the nation's population, socio-economic and geographic considerations are factored in the selection of campus qualifiers. High school gradates or those graduating at the end of the school year must pass the UPCAT administered every year.
Transferees from other schools and shiftees from other UP units are also admitted into the undergraduate programs provided they meet the grade requirements of the department they seek admission to.
