Asst. Prof. Silahis O. Peckley
Asst. Prof. Silahis Ocampo-Peckley has been teaching at the Department of Family Life and Child Development as a lecturer since 2021, handling subjects on lifespan development, marriage and family relations, and CWTS. Now a full-time faculty, she also teaches preschool children at the U.P. Child Development Center.
A writer and editor by training and profession, Teacher Silahis has been involved in extension work such as writing and editing training modules for child development teachers and workers; writing Lesson Exemplars for Kindergarten under the MATATAG curriculum of the Department of Education; and serving as resource person for a Knowledge Channel video on the importance of home and school partnership in the development of young children.
