Keisha is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Family Life and Child Development, College of Home Economics, University of the Philippines Diliman. She studies the governance and administration of early childhood policies and programs, collaborating on projects with children, families, practitioners, and government stakeholders in the field of Early Childhood Development. Previously, she worked as a Knowledge Fellow with the Early Childhood Development Action Network in Washington, DC, developing an ECCD Responsiveness LGU Assessment Tool. Currently, Keisha is a doctoral candidate at the Centre for Global Childhoods at the University of Auckland. Her current research project explores the possibilities of decolonial education in early childhood within Filipino families.
